The Art for the Wilderness series is over, but sign up here to receive Marina’s newsletter about looking at your life like a work of art:
Art for the Wilderness is an email series to help you feel held in hard times through encounters with art.
You’ll get weekly emails through the season of Lent. Each email will include a simple mindfulness practice inspired by an artwork.
Lent echoes the forty days Jesus spent wandering through the wilderness. As we enter the third Lent of the pandemic, we are no strangers to wilderness. This series invites you to use your senses to engage fully with the present moment, opening you up to notice the beauty that’s waiting to meet you—even in the wilderness.
While this series follows the rhythms of the Christian liturgical calendar, it is written for readers of any (or no) spiritual tradition. All are welcome.
I hope that these encounters with art will nourish you in the midst of dark times, and encourage you to find light in surprising places.
Warmly,
