Arts and Crafts for Grown-Ups
/I have made several trips lately to Rougier & Plé, stocking up on clay, felt, plaster, paint and oh so many sequins.
I am processing life through arts and crafts.
Now I come home from a long day at work, set the mood with John Coltrane, Andrew Bird or Devon Graves and lose myself in messy, wonderful projects.
There is so much freedom in creating solely for myself. My aim is not to become a master painter or sculptor; my aim is to play, to experiment, to process my day through creative actions. My art time is for me.
I am an artist and my art is an imaginative life.
